Why Are There Banks in Education?

  1. This was so compressed that it is almost entirely unreadable. If it weren't for the decent layout, I would have confused it with a wingnut pamphlet on Sproul -- please consider revising it! You clearly know what you're talking about, but this made so little sense! Adding a lot of arrows between "loan origination craze: subprime ftw!" and similarly unhelpful phrases tells me nothing.

  2. Thanks for the feedback. Found this elsewhere and was impressed at how ambitious it was for a flier. There will be more versions of charts (hopefully more reader friendly!) like this coming out over the next few weeks.

  3. Your flow chart pretty much says it all. I see a simple solution: get rid of accreditation. Accreditation of undergraduate programs accomplishes nothing. It's an expensive process, costing millions of $, and serves to exclude low-cost competition.
